Glamour Modeling
A type of modeling where the model's appearance and how she is presented is the main focus of the photo or campaign, rather than the clothing or product.
Go-See
The meeting between a client and a model, in which the client talks with the model, looks at his/ her portfolio, and determines if the model is right for the job.
Headshot
An 8x10 photograph of a model's head and shoulders. Headshots are a very important tool for any model because they allow clients to see a model's facial features up close.
Headsheet
A large sheet or brochure displaying a collection of models represented by an agency. It generally contains model's headshots and stats, for use in distributing to clients.
High Board
This is an agency's group of top models, who have years of experience in the industry. They are highly paid, and are very often names and faces the public recognizes.
Implied Nudity
Either full or partial nudity which is meant to be suggestive, and generally does not completely expose the model's body.
License
Permission to use professional photographs. Because photographers own the rights to the pictures they take, a model or client must ask for permission in order to use the pictures. If the photographer agrees, then this is known as giving a license.
Look
The unique appearance of a model.
